Jesus invites us to retreat with Him. At times He told His disciples to go, yet at other times He asked them to come away. There are times to run and times to rest. First Love Retreat will provide simple teachings to enhance your devotional times.. Together, we will meditate on the reality of who God is: His goodness, His sacrifice, His pre-eminence, His love. We will enjoy His presence in times of quiet reflection and meaningful conversations. We seek to encounter Him, and experience who He is.

Charity brings a prophetic teaching gift to her ministry along with a deep well of practical equipping. As the Director of Voice of the Women and a Global Awakening Associate Evangelist, she has proven to be a woman of character, anointing, and deep thinking. She has ministered around the world, seeing the Body of Christ encouraged and built up. Charity combines her theological training with her love for the presence of God, leading to rich, transforming encounters with God.
Angela Burns is a worship pastor, songwriter, and ministry leader with Global Awakening. She is passionate about creating environments where people encounter the presence of God and grow in intimacy with Jesus. Through worship leadership, songwriting, teaching, and discipleship, Angela equips believers to hear God's voice, live from their identity in Christ, and cultivate a lifestyle of worship.
Pat and Valora were married in Corpus Christi, TX in 1991. They have two children: Valyssa and Von. Pat and Valora minister with firsthand knowledge of God’s healing power. A serious car accident left Valora with multiple physical injuries and severe PTSD. However, God healed her and set her free through the ministry of Randy Clark. God’s touch drastically changed Pat and Valora, igniting a new passion and inspiring them to lay everything down to follow Him. At first, they served on staff at Sun Coast Worship Center with their pastor Tom Jones. Soon after, they followed the leading of the Holy Spirit to Nova Friburgo, Brazil where they worked in the favelas as missionaries with Iris Ministries. Shortly after returning from Brazil, Pat began working for Global Awakening as the Director of International Trips and Valora began attending Global School of Supernatural Ministry. After graduating, she began co-leading a hungry small group that grew into Son Burn Encounters and Son Burn School of Passion. Pat and Valora are passionate about sharing God’s heart for His people through prophetic ministry as well as seeing people encounter God personally.
