Jesus invites us to retreat with Him. At times He told His disciples to go, yet at other times He asked them to come away. There are times to run and times to rest. Take some time to come away with us to a quiet place in Bradenton, FL for the “First Love Retreat.” Start the year off right by taking time to rest, refresh and reconnect with your First Love. Set your eyes on Him and hear His voice. Renew your strength, so you can run with endurance and bear much fruit.
First Love Retreat will provide teachings which are both simple and also challenge us to put out into the deep. Together, we will meditate on the reality of who God is: His goodness, His sacrifice, His pre-eminence, His love. We will enjoy His presence in times of quiet reflection and meaningful conversations. We seek to encounter Him, and experience who He is.

Charity brings a prophetic teaching gift to her ministry along with a deep well of practical equipping. As a Global Awakening Associate Evangelist, she has proven to be a woman of character, anointing, and deep thinking. She has ministered around the world, seeing the Body of Christ encouraged and built up. Charity combines her theological training with her love for the presence of God, leading to rich, transforming encounters with God.
Sara Finkelstein started knowing and hearing the voice of God before she even understood that God is relational and an active part of our lives. Gifted in words of knowledge and the prophetic, Sara followed God’s leading to Global Awakening. After attending Global School of Supernatural Ministry, she permanently relocated to Pennsylvania to work with Global Awakening, specifically to help those seeking a deeper level of knowledge and truth through higher education at Global Awakening Theological Seminary. She is passionate about helping to reach those who have not yet received revelation of the good news, and desires to open opportunities to people for intimacy with our Heavenly Father.
Joe Sherry works as the First Year Pastor and Worship Leader for Global School of Supernatural Ministry. Originally from Massachusetts, Joe moved to Pennsylvania to attend GSSM in 2018 and stayed to grow worship at Global Awakening through songwriting and recording. Additionally, Joe founded Awaken Nations, which takes teams around the world to teach and minister in churches as well as to lead worship at conferences.
Paul Smith is a graduate of Global School of Supernatural Ministry. He became the school's first Prayer Intern and has continued with Global Awakening as the Video Production Manager and a contributing teacher at GSSM. With a heart for contemplative prayer, Paul enjoys mentoring students in their secret-place prayer lives as they learn to experience union with God.
